David Arp was born in Arizona, raised in Texas, and lives in Colorado with his wife. He’s 67 but has only spent half of the past 40+ years at home. The other half he traveled and worked the oilfields of the world, from the deserts of the Middle East to the vast oceans offshore.

His thirst for storytelling began on a rig in the Saudi desert with the availability of email when he began penning short stories about his experiences and passing them along to friends at home in the states.

David’s debut YA novel, Me and Jake is written under the pseudonym, Boo Riley and is published with Watershed Books.

ORB, his debut thriller is published through Harbourlight Books.

Dave also co-authored a suspense novel, Against the Odds with V. B. Tenery.

His latest title, Bloodletting, is independently published.
